Weekly bulletin

The Lynch Prayer Calendar - April 2020 Seeking Christ – Sharing Life – Serving the Community “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” 1 Philippians 4:6 Kate Cottrell produces a weekly diary for Christians in Motorsport. Last week she sent this prayer and Tricia felt it encapsulated our own prayers – with the added bonus of being linked to one of her favourite Psalms! Let us unite together, upholding each other in prayer, trusting in God’s goodness and faithfulness. Monday: I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? Pray for all who are feeling lost and alone. Tuesday: My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Pray for all those on the frontline, caring and protecting us. Wednesday: He will not let your foot slip - he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed he who watches over Israel with neither slumber nor sleep. Pray for those who are self-isolating, particularly those with serious underlying medical conditions. Thursday: The Lord watches over you - the Lord is your shade at your right hand. Pray for all those who are sick who are dying and for their families. Friday: The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. Pray for all those whose jobs are at risk, and who are afraid that they won’t be able to earn a living. Saturday: The Lord will keep you all from harm - he will watch over your life. Pray for all those with the responsibility for making decisions to care and protect us all. Sunday: The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and for evermore. Worship God who holds us all in His hand. We suggest you use the Chapel Directory to pray for each individual involved with the chapel. Maybe praying for three names every day. Also pray for the children in our community and their families. Pray for those working in our village - keeping the essential shops and services going. Pray especially this month for Elizabeth the weekly communication, for Duncan with his weekly message and for Debbie with the daily prayer time. As usual please let one of us know of items which we might include in the monthly Prayer Calendar. With the situation changing daily if you have an urgent prayer request please contact one of the Deacons or Duncan. Enid is happy to receive calls to chat about anything! Enid 842534 Tricia 843481
