This Sunday 13th September, 2020 Duncan’s message is on our website (lynchchapel.org.uk) click the audio button on the home page TITLE: Seen and Heard SCRIPTURE: Acts 4 verses 5 to 20 Today we look at how Jesus guides and mentors us. Is it learning more? Is it following rules? Or is it something else? We also share in communion at the end.  Don’t forget to light a Candle and put it in your window at 7 pm this Sunday Links with the wider church • Sunday Service available online at https://devotions.urc.org.uk • Prayer for URC Thursdays 20.15 -20.35 • Time of prayer every Wednesday and Sunday evening at 7pm. www.baptist.org.uk/Groups/338268/Prayer_broadcasts.aspx Duncan and the deacons want to support all members of the fellowship. Please don’t hesitate to contact them if you need help. NEWS Duncan is working very hard to get sermons etc. ready and recorded before 16th September when he and Carol are going on holiday to Scotland. I’m sure we all wish them a safe journey and a very restful time with no lockdowns and no midges. Good news Bernice is back to driving. She is mobile around the house but uses her crutches when she goes out. Catherine has just one more lot of chemotherapy to go – a fortnight on Tuesday. Pray that all continues to go well and that the further treatment is successful Last Word on radio 4 (16.00h) carried a very fitting tribute to Stuart King, founder of MAF, who died this week. Julien Worricker described him as pioneering humanitarian. Available on BBC Sounds I was sent this on Facebook and thought it might be a valuable thought when we get too caught up in the worry of the moment

MAY THE PEACE OF THE LORD BE WITH US ALL
